Mommy is My Teacher is dedicated to providing engaging learning activities, resources, and tips to help moms support their children's educational journey to become successful, life-long learners.

This blog is unique from other educational blogs because:

1. I am a professional educator with over 15 years of teaching and early childhood experience. I'll share tried-and-true activities, not things you can't do or take up too much time.

2. I believe all children can learn and excel. Period. It is up to us as parents to figure out what works best for our child to help them succeed.

3. I realize that as moms we also have to take care of ourselves, before we can cater to our children. So I have a section of posts related to Mom Life.

4. I don't prescribe to one size fits all school approaches. Regardless of the type of school you choose for your child, I believe that a mom's job is to enhance it.

Who Am I?

Hi! I’m a wife, mom of the fabulous 4, three girls and one boy (last two are twins!), and educator! Throughout my 12-year education career I have worked with children of all levels and different backgrounds. I have always been a life-long learner and wanted to help students not only in the classroom but also at home. Many parents have a difficult time helping their children and I wanted to create a site with resources to help them. My mission is simple-to empower all moms to realize they are their children’s first teacher!
